The Jazz Horse Series are a vibrant and fluid expression of life, merging the realms of passion and spirituality.

They invite us to experience a timeless connection with the primal life force within. Through the powerful equine curve and shapes, each piece is as an expression of a spirited existence, celebrating the surrender to the "Other" and the creative pulse of life. My earlier “Horse Series” were religious thematically and they led to the American Archetype and Icon Series. These current ongoing Jazz Horse paintings share the curving forms and use of the horse as a subject but they are spontaneous and celebrate the carnal.
